Welcome to barkoSoftware! This site gives me an opportunity to bring together two things that I love, astronomy and programming computers.

In this day of do-it-all, "Swiss Army Knife" software products, I hope to provide very specific tools, to do very specific jobs, in an elegant, efficient, and user-friendly fashion.  My GuideDog software is the first, of what I expect to be many offerings.
